History/Overview
The NV Cargo is Nissan's full-size commercial van, which carries over unchanged from 2019.
Available Trims
Nissan offers the NV in 1500, 2500 and 3500 variants, and S and SV trim levels. 1500 models use a V6; 2500 adds the option of a V8; and 3500 is V8-only. There are standard and high-roof body styles.
Standard Features
The 1500 S package comes with 17-inch steel wheels, air conditioning, keyless entry, tilt steering, cruise control, cloth seats with vinyl wear patches, cargo-floor D-rings, 57 cargo mounting points, 10 roof rack mounting brackets, pre-wiring for electrical upfits, wide-opening rear doors, and a two-speaker stereo with a 7.0-inch infotainment touchscreen.
2500 S adds power-adjustable side mirrors, under-seat storage, upgraded cargo area lighting, a lockable centre console, and full-width overhead storage with the high-roof option.
2500 SV gets chrome bumpers and grille, backup sensors, a four-speaker stereo, trailer pre-wiring, a Class-IV tow hitch receiver, navigation in a 5.8-inch touchscreen, Nissan Connect apps, and an eight-way power driver's seat with lumbar.
3500 S builds on the 2500 S with two front tow hooks and four assist grips.
Finally, 3500 SV builds on 2500 SV with a heavy-duty battery.
Fuel Economy
Natural Resources Canada doesn't require fuel consumption estimates for commercial vehicles.
Competition
With the NV Cargo, Nissan competes most closely with old-school domestic vans like the Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana. Other competitors are the Euro-sourced Ford Transit and Ram Promaster.
